However, you just remembered that tomorrow is your mother's birthday.
Call your friend to explain your situation and ask him three or four questions to reschedule the date.

I m sorry but I can't make it tomorrow, I just remembered it's my mother's birthday. 
How about rescheduling our date?
how about the day after tomorrow? (Will you be available next week?)
If ever you are available what time are you free?
Will we still be watching the same movie or a different movie?
I'll buy you a beer when you're meet.

Hello, is this the computer maintenance service?
I am calling because I had a problem with my computer yesterday.
I just bought it yesterday, but while I was using my computer , the power suddenly turned off by itself.
I tried turning it on again but still there was no power.
Can you change this into a new one? (or can you suggest what I can do)
How much would be your repair charges?
How long will be the repair period? (How long will it take for you to repair it?)
